This is the official registration thread for this contest. Please read the rules before agreeing to participate so you understand them completely. If you are going to participate, please send me a PM letting me know. I will add your name to the list. As you all begin to create your threads, I will also add the model and make of what you have selected here so we know what to look forward to. Deadline to register is 3/31. The contest begins the next day. You have a little over a week to decide whether or not you want to join. I encourage all of you to participate. It's three full months of planning and building. I'm taking names now!

16 members have signed up so far! That is exciting! road-rage-smiley-emoticon Imagine how hard the voting will be if we all make it to the end? I am super stoked about this contest!!
Still time to sign up if you are interested in participating. The contest starts 4/1 so as long as you tell us what you're building and start the thread by 4/7, you're good to go.

Wow should prove to be real interesting..Looks as though GM is taking the lead
so far..Only two fords ? Whats with that ? Four Mopars..Two TBD.Still early , could be a lot more ??
Going to be one Killer contest !!!!
To bad my 67 442 Concept Wagon is not a new , just started kit. Judging by the time
I have in the build so far -- would never have made it in time anyway..Looking forward to all the builds and entering my 61 Impala..

I will be doing a Jimmy Flintstone Resin 1960 Chevy 4dr wagon just haven't decided weather it will be a Impala or Bel-Air yet  The competition is cool looking forward to this  |

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and jumped in on this one. Debated whether or not to throw another build on myself seeing how slow I build. I noticed how GM heavy this contest is going to be and I struggled with that trying to make my decisions.
After I finally decided whether or not I would join in, I then had the harder task of deciding what to build. I eventually narrowed it down to 10 and rolled dice to pick one. I had a couple Fords and a couple Mopars in the mix, even an Avanti, but the '69 Nova won the roll.
I used a 10 sided die (a relic from my D&D days, yes I have a nerd gene in me) using it like a wheel of projects.

Alrighty folks. Registration is now closed. You can start creating you post in the progress folder. Remember first thread should include the parts laid out of what you're starting with. It's ok if you add and customize parts as you build comes along. You have one week to do that to keep you in the contest. So let's say post them by....April 7th 11:59.
