Hey guys,
A super heavy hand was dealt to my adopted mother. A week or so ago she found herself in the hospital with a preexisting condition, but while there her condition has tanked. On top of this, she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. So unfortunately, the odds of her pulling through are looking slimmer by the day. Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Well guys, her condition has worsened. The odds of a recovery now are basically zero. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure she would have as well.  |

I appreciate all the prayers everyone! They have removed the large tumor they found, but due to her previous condition she's been left paralyzed and too frail to continue with chemotherapy. It's basically been arranged for her to spend the rest of her days in a Skilled Nursing Facility, however many that may be. I'm honestly not really sure how to feel. Mostly confused... It's just a lot to process.  |

have been where you are, it's sad and it sucks. lost my mom a little over 10 years ago after her being in hospital for a month.
my thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you and your family. just take one day at a time my friend, it's all you can do.

Sometimes we just have to trust in "what will be" and try to keep going ourselves. So sorry to hear the news. It's never easy though. Blessings 2 u.
