I have always liked this when on other forums in the past. Post a picture of yourself and a brief messege of what you do and what you enjoy. I'll start. I am James (duh) 32 years old, working in HVAC wholesale for the past 5 years, I am married with 2 beautiful kids daughter Alexis is 7 and my son Raine is 3. Things i enjoy are building and painting models, and spending time with my kids and wife I currently have 9 tattoos and 1 in the works.  |

well, no pic yet, but, i'm 44 and have been an ASE master certified auto tech for 20 years. married for 22 years, have a 23 year old son and a 20 year old daughter [who is making me a grampa, just found out ] have been at the same chevy dealer for 13 years and really love building models. also have a bunch of tattoo's. if it ticks, I need to know why and how it works  |

Ok.. Here we go. Mug shot of the year.. My name is Steve..aka Junkman..49 yrs old.. I have been in the auto field for over 30 yrs. restoring vintage to building hotrods. Learned how to do everything but trannys. I came up through the school of hard knocks. Hands on is the only way to fly.. I love building hotrods and Rat rods.. Been with the same pain in the butt for 27 yrs. Opps.. I didnt say that. No she is great. even enjoys modles with me.. 3 kids. son..30..2 daughters 28 and 26.. My hobbies and past time is building models and creating custom paint jobs on plastic, restoring horse show buggies, and tinkering with my 61 buick wagon. Might get it done some year... This pic was taken in my happy hide away..lol  |

Hi, I'm Joe Porche from Las Vegas,NV. I'm 53 years old and have been modeling since I was 9 years old. I have a passion for show cars, ala; Tom Daniels, and George Barris. Currently I have 55 model kits in various states of build including 16 autos, 12 pieces of armor, 2 watercraft, 27 aircraft. Last year (due to unemployement) I finished 36 model kits. Of those 23 were Automobiles. I have a goal for 2014 to finish 18 kits of which 6 are to be Tom Daniels kits and six to be armor. so far this year I have finished Polar Lights 1/25 Candies and Hughes Barracuda Funny Car Revell 1/25 1932 Stacy David Rat Roadster/Drag Version Revell 1/25 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe  |

Greetings from Seattle, My name is Rich and I am 45 years old and live in Kirkland WA. I am a Telecommunication engineer who spends his spare time building and collecting vintage car kits. . I just started building models about 3 years ago when I found an old corvette that I had purchase for my kid. I was addicted after my first build. I really enjoy the Alter Wheel Base Cars but the older kits are so expensive I tend to just collect those. Hotrods and funny cars are what I mostly build. I have a 22 year old son in collage studying sports law in hopes to become a sports agent. I hope to gain some knowledge from everyone here to sharpen my skills.  |

 My handle is 50shoebox and this is my favorite hotrod. It is long gone now and it served me well. My last hotrod was a 1950 Ford coupe. I just looked through the other members "Howdy's" and it looks like I am the old guy on the block. I'm 73 today! I have been building model cars for 60 or so. My first model was a 1949 Studebaker coupe for Christmas, 1949. I promptly took it apart and painted it. when I reassembled it without the front bumper. I still have it in my collection. I will be opening a folder and displaying my models soon. |

Alright I'll play along, its always nice to put a face to a name lol. My name is Jesse, I'm 29 and work in a warehouse for one of the largest coffee pot manufacturers in the world. Some of you may know them or even own a coffee pot made by them, Bunn-O-Matic. I'm married with a 7 year old stepson and a 2 year son. I enjoy anything with wheels no matter the scale, but mostly enjoy hot rods/rat rods and anything else with horsepower.  heres mine!! About a 10 year old pic ,but i havent changed .still as handsome as ever!!LOL The name Doc O came from my niece 13 years ago. She would call me uncle Dave and it sounded like Doc O Dave so it stuck!! In the summer months im either at my fishing camp (see pic)Or in my garage working on Webster,(thats another story for a different thread)!!i have lots of tattys as well (again see pic)With a large one on my back thats still a work in progress!! Im 57 will 58 in july have a girlfriend ,that loves fishing,and lets me keep my model room in my bedroom.think i'll keep this one around !!Had a 65 GTO and a 66 GTO clone now im playin with porchs (Porsche thats webster ill introduce ya to him later)Use to like driving straight but now i want the twistees!! Edit!!! Forgot to tell ya what i do. Ive a licensed mechanic,i specilize in transmissions.got out of the trade 14 years ago,now i work for a transmision supplier selling parts and doing Over phone tech. and on line on how to repair all these new ones and old out there. I also have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.Ok thats it!!LOL |

Alright, I guess it's time you see my mug. I'm about to turn 37. I'm in the most west point of the state of Texas. Not even sure if we're still part of that state. They could easily move the state line a few miles and we'd be part of New Mexico just like that. open-mouth-smiley-emoticon Working for the largest and most reliable wireless network around. WARNING! There may be images within this post that are disturbing to all viewers.  The name is Farrell, Skip Farrell. I'm 50 years old and I'm an Aquarius. I enjoy long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. Well...not entirely true, I don't really like the beach, I don't drink...much, and the rain leaks under the plate in my head which also attracts lightning. Seriously though, I live in Florida in the northern Tampa Bay area. I work at a Corvette shop restoring and customizing the aggravating things. I started building models when I was around 8 and somewhere in my early twenties "life" pulled me away for two or so decades. I recently rediscovered my styrene passion a little over a year ago. One of my other hobbies is playing with the real cars. I have my '55 Mercury "Merchero" and a '70 Corvette coupe that I play around with. I will close with a more serious pic of myself when I behave out in public. It's a few years old, but I haven't changed any. It's with my youngest son when he graduated Marine Corps boot camp.  |

 My screen name says it all. What,did you expect a young skinny man? HAHAHA!!! I am a grandfather of three, have three kids with one still left in the roost. I am truck driver by trade (36 years) and build and show cars for a hobby. In my younger years I built at least one car a year. Sold it and moved on to another. Now I just have my Dart, my models, and a broken down Harley in about 1000 pieces. I live outside Chicago Illinois and I am a member of a group of Real Bearded Santa's and put on the suit and transform into the man in red every December. So...... Do I look like Santa??? |

Ok here's my mug I've been building models most of my life I work in a scrap yard cutting scrap steel with a torch been around or worked in salvage & scrap yard since I got out of Army (Viet Nam era ) . Have 3 Children 1 boy 2 girls ages 28...23...21 2 Grand children 4 1/2 and 7 months done a little drag racing and several years of dirt track racing but now just work and build models is all I want to do , am divorced 3 times and am presently single and loving it So there you have it HAPPY Modeling to all   |

Holy Cow Paul, we could be seperated twins!!! You ever think or ever have done the Santa thingy? How many times are you in a restaurant or store and little kids stare or follow you around? You could be right who knows LOL Yea I get that all the time , little kids can some times go way out of there way to keep an eye on you it's cool no never done the Santa thing lots of people tell me I need to but haven't yet I keep seeing flash backs from the movie Bad Santa and the idea of a little one wetting them selfs on my leg don't appeal to me to well LOL maybe some day  Thanks Doc everyone ask me how did you grow that beard I just look at them and say Gotta be a Man !
