Anyone else who sells stuff on the bay notice how some buyers these days are getting pushy. If you state 2 or 3 day ship they want it overnight. If the mail takes 4 or 5 days to get it across the US it is your fault they took so long. I have heard they didnt care if it snowed and stuff was slow. Then they hammer you with feedback... I think ebay give the buyer and not the sellers to much to play with on thier feedback system. And the good one is... I dont care if it took me over a week to pay. You said 3 days shipping.. Read..It says 3 days handling time on my end..Duuuhhh, Had to blow off some steam. Wanted to see if you other guys was dealing with the same bone head people..

I feel your pain, bud. It's not easy selling on eBay. It does seem sometime that the seller usually gets the long end of the stick. I list my items with 1 day handling time and if I cant get it out on Monday I usually message the buyer telling them its going to be a little longer and usually that works. I would put a comment in your description saying that you will ship within 3 days of payment being made and that after that you cannot control USPS. Also have to keep in mind what type of shipping are you offering. If you are offering 2-3 days shipping that is what they are going to expect. I think eBay even took the time to send a message to all buyers having to do with the bad weather and that some items might take a bit longer. To be patient. Maybe those buyers didnt get the memo. But dont ever let a buyer threaten you with negative feedback, because you wont meet their demands. The minute they do, report them. It's the only way to balance things out. But hang in there buddy. Nothing wrong with making a few extra bucks,

I've never understood why people take so long to pay for the stuff they win on eBay. If I don't have the money to pay for it, I don't bid on it and that just makes sense to me lol. Years ago I sold a lot of stuff on there and in all my ads I stated that if it wasn't paid within 48 hours after auction end I would report them and relist them item.
I pay for all my stuff on eBay minutes after the auction ends. What I hate is the people that take a week just to get it in the mail, then they use the cheapest slowest shipping possible. Even then if the item is what they say it was I leave 5 star and positive feedback cause I know stuff comes up and most people have real jobs and a life lol.

I agree. I dont mind holding items as long as the buyer contacts me first. Or if they are bidding on other items.

I have a question about an ebay seller last fall I bought a race car payed for it either that night or the following day. They never did send it to me. Is there anything I could do? I didn't spend much money but its still wrong. I think they fell of the face of the earth. They haven't had anything up on there page. Just wondering

Just wondering You only have 45 days to file a claim with PayPal. I'm afraid you may be S.O.L. on that deal, but in the future if that happens make sure to file a claim. If I don't get a shipped notice within at least 7 days I email em and ask what's up.

I figured I was it just rubs me the wrong way. I wasn't pushing them about shipping the thing. They said something about there kid going to the hospital and they would ship it in a couple days and I was totally ok with that. Then about 2 weeks later I sent another email to them asking if they shipped it. They said they was shipping it that day but im still waiting on it lol.

Had that happen a coupla times. It just kinda burns ya at first, but apparently they felt like they needed the money more then you wanted the stuff you won lol. I haven't had that problem in probably 6 or 7 years. Main thing is to check their feedback before bidding to make sure they're on the up and up.

Lol, I buy way more then I should on eBay. Worst thing to do is save your email receipts and add them up sometime. I buy pretty much all my hobby stuff from there no matter which hobby I'm hooked on at the time lol. It can be a great place for sure, but there's always that one yayhoo that has to screw someone over just to make a buck.

I've had only one bad deal didn't get what I paid for so I got a hold of the seller and they refunded my money and shipping and they were really nice about it

I buy and sell a lot of Protar Bike kits on Ebay, and sometimes you have to wonder what hole some of these people have crawled out under. One guy wanted a picture of the sprues on top of todays USA today, and when I said we dont get that here, he said mhh, okay leave it then... Last december i bought a job lot, was 35 kits of bikes and cars at really cheap prices. I paid the amount, I had the kits couriered from Canada and they arrived a couple of days later. Two days later, I get a message from the seller, he's made a horrible mistake in the pricing, this is what he actually wanted, would I mind just settling the difference. As you might guess, simple 3 word answer.. No I wouldnt.

So many things could happen but if you didn't even get your money back, it's just not right. I second this.. They are trying a new one on me now.. Did that darn global shipping program thing a month ago. Tracker tracked it to the shipping center in Erlanger Kentucky. It just happened to disappear after it got there..Hmmm.. They finally got back to me on the CUSTOMER support line.. They said... Tracker shows it was delivered but not recieved by our center. The buyer will have to open a case against "YOU" for us to help him out. thank you. ebay support team.. Now what kind of crock is that. It is there fault it was lost, I did what I was to do with tracker, but they still blame me for it getting lost.. Ebay stinks in my book anymore.
