The way you raised the front wheel wells and mounted the rear fenders higher on the bed really looks good! I think that may be a good mod to make on a street rod! Way to go Frank!

thanks AK...that would be kool smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e okies folks...last update for this day did a little assembly and decal work done and it's mostly done. the only hold up being some body work on the front end of the cab and then paint/decals on the entire cab. let's start with the goodyear tire decals...as anyone who has built any number of older nascar kits knows, these dadblame things just look terrible so i'm lookin at it and i said to myself, i said "self, what do we have that would seep under them decals and form a "wet-ish" type finish while drying clear?" i then replied "well self, what if we mixed these two together in a 50/50-ish mixture until it looked like this and then poked some holes in the decal to aid seep-age and brushed that on?" hmmm...that's worth a try and i this result and the assembly went this way and finally the rest of the decal work enjoy

That looks great nice decal work On my MOTM build I had a hard time with tire decals first after normally applying them when they dried they just fell off so I tried a light coat of clear to seal them and they still fell off so I finally used a little tube glue just under where they set on the tire and so far still there but I really expect them to fall off again some day

on the final steps of final assembly and i pick up the windsheild to make sure it still fits b4 glue and i drop it...on the floor...between my feet...when i rolled my chair back to find it i hear *crunch* yup! rolled right over it geuss it's a good thing i have 2 more of this same kit i gotta say that this build is surpassing my expectations and looking BETTER than the picture in my head smileyCAELY0UD_zps3cc8a166. it's not perfect or even one of my better builds, BUT i smile every time i look at it
