If I started a thread on this , I can not find it but here goes. Here we go with the latest. I got the chassis painted and the body is near complete with paint. It is Italian Red but looks orange in the pics. Moving forward. Mike

Very cool! Looking real good too. I have always loved the Meyers Manx buggies. Can't wait to see this drag version when you are finished. Got a couple of these kits and been itching to get started doing something with one of them.

Tried to work on headers yesterday and spent 3 hours on them and threw them all away. I will have to come up with a better idea. Tried Brass rod then copper wire and now will likely try styrene.

I am now thinking of thinner copper wire than I had and solder all four together then try to bend them ,if that fails I will likely try styrene as it is easy to work with and can be bent if you stick it in boiling water for a minute or so. Thanks Guys , Mike

Thanks so much Guys , Rider , I did go with solder this AM and a piece of Aluminum tubing I stretched into a cone with a hammer and an awl and some WD40. I really like the result and the look I was trying to get. Needs touching up and tweaking yet but it is there. Mike

Very interesting choice of wheels. Never would've thought..... Looks good. I drag raced a motorcycle back in the day and this is real close to the way the real car looked only it was all flat black. Thanks , Mike

Never seen another one built this way, but maybe that's just why I like this so much. Excellent work overall. Engine detailing looks great and especially that exhaust pipe is my favorite part. Thanks for sharing.
