Thanks Jbailey and Hemi :: I am not sure at this point about the roof, I had planned on using a large sun roof type ( glass ), tinted slightly green , as I plan to do the side glass's (behind the backseat) that way also. Just have not decided if I will do a Vista Roof or not I do like the look of the Vista's though..I am also seriously thinking of opening the Door's. After all I have a Opening Hood and a Working Tailgate anyway, why not - right ?? Thanks Again for the interest , It Is Appreciated.. Tom Oh Hemi:: This one is only going to run a 425 cu in ,Toronado Block, only with tri power - 4 spd and Factory Air..After all , it is suppose to be a Factory Concept car from 1967, only one of a kind / never produced..

Tom, OOOOOOO 425 Tri power, OMG. that brings back memories and a lot of fun too..... Worked on I think it was a '62 Olds with a 425 in it, WASN'T factory tho I don't believe....I say that as when I first got to work in that garage, this car was on its way out. I got to spray clear on it and then polish the ever loving hell out of it....SO....I didn't get all the full info on it! BUT to take it around the block once ot twice was a hoot.....Thing would literally "slip" 'round corners like nothing.....

Hey Tom If it's a factory concept car why not leave the clear parts clear and use stock wheels from the 67 Olds kit? Or did they offer the Cragar looking wheels as an option from the factory back then?
Not sure how much factory you're going for or if youre including a few upgrades like the tinted windows and optional wheels. Either way, a lot of work will give you great results. Keep it up.

Hey Ice, Yea I like Cragar's, but I don't believe Olds offered them as any kind of factory option.. I tried to make my own style wheel ( march 12th Posting.) but the chrome never turned out like I wanted, so probably won't use them..I like the 5 spoke style wheel such as a Astro Supreme , ( going way back when on that call )or something on the order of the Tourqer wheel..Just wanted something different for this "Concept Car". When everything is all said and done I think their will be a lot of ( Concept Car ) upgrades on this build, probably just short of Custom - but still something the Factory could have built. smiley-confused005 Tom

That's makes sense. When you get some time look for the resin Torque Wheel contest in past contests. I think it was out very first contest and you might have not been a member yet. Everyone used them a little bit differently. I still have a few set so if those are the style you're looking for, I can send you a few. Here's a pic of them.

John - here were made by Detail Master a long while back. I bought whatever was left from the original caster before they stopped making these available to sell. Probably have a good 10 set left after the contest.
Tom - there are a couple of ways. alclad, chrome paint, Spaz Stix. I'll tell you what, If you want a set, I can chrome some with Spaz Stix for you before sending them out. pM me if you're interested.

I don't know what they were labeled as. Not sure they were Cragars though. There are plenty of wheels this style, all with different names.

Glad to see you are back to working on this one. It's really coming along nicely. The vista roof would be great on this, as it is an Oldsmobile and kind of their signature wagon roof, but being a concept the large clear or tinted opening is just as cool. popcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon

Thanks Skip. Yea I like the Vista Roof also. Just not sure if I will go with that at this stage of the game or not..Do think it would look cool as a 2dr Vista but not sure of how I would go about doing it, with the modification's that are already done to the Roof. Still like the opening door aspect, but the roof >> thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon
