Hi all well it was my birthday today and we had family over, are grandchildren born with a funny bone, sitting in the dining room and the light goes out, Meg pokes her head round the corner and says shh it's a secret papa granny's got you a birthday cake just as the cake is bought in the door, we were in fits of laughter, she's 3. Here is part of my haul (still have some to pick up from my mums and pam says 2 cars are still awaiting delivery) I'm chuffed for one birthday. These are for this dio as I said the mini and jag are still in the post And this is for light releif (I've got plans for it and those who know me know it won't be like the box art)( and I mean nothing like the box art)Â

The Bently looks great Ken. "Feeling quite high now" That's why we all paint so much.

Just got back 21.05 from taking my boss to London harrods to have her hair done so took the seats and decals thought I would get a few done in the 5 hrs I sit in the car, didn't do a single one they don't fit so I recon I will just paint them one colour just don't know which colour, I think that's a quite big flaw in an otherwise great kitÂ

If your doing the range rover as the cops, you almost have to do the transit as the robbers, being the favored get away vehicle of the time, lol. The mini is a good kit too, the engine can be a little tricky to get in though.

Never tried a fujimi kit before I must say initial inspection looked good but, the colour callouts are vague to say the least, the plastic is incredibly fragile, I broke the kingpin off and I hardly touched it Then when I went to fix it I discovered it is totally wrong It is actually moulded coming out of the break disc. I think that is a pretty fundamental mistake and very early in the build, I reserve judgement but not looking good at the moment.

Hi all here's the next update I made the break and fuel lines out of stripped network wires I much prefer larger scales, I mean look how small this engine is Compared to this Those window blind slats are 4 inches (approximately 100 mill) How you guys add so much detail to 1/24 kits I take my hat off to you.

Thanks mate, I seem to have less and less time for modeling, in fact I've been toying with the idea of shelving modeling till things quiten down.

Bit more done to the chassis. I didn't notice that about the offset differential in this one till now. Interesting....................
Good progress.
