Thanks guys. I think I have an engine and the wheels picked out. Won't really k ow until the engine is close to done. This kit seems like 1/23 compared to the engine. May need to find something bigger. hey Ice... turn your slicks around. the wrinkles go in front. as the tire turns, the slicks grab the pavement and therefore, don't want to turn, causing the tires to bunch up.... like this...

don't mean to be critical. the build is looking great, and yes, that kit looks huge. I think it's (along with the challenger I am doing) a weee bit out of scale.
tubbs, could you clarify what you are saying here. I've looked at the wrinkle tire on Joels Mustang and the tire on the example you posted and the wrinkles are both going in the same direction. At first glance they appear to be going in differant directions until you realize you are looking at the passenger side of the Mustang and the drivers side of the blue car. After rereading you post, I think you meant to "rotate" the tire until the wrinkles are located towards the front not the rear. I see Joel has turned them around so the wrinkles indicate that the car is traveling in reverse.

I have seen wrinkles in the back of the tire, but this is in the pits where the car may have been moved backwards.
