There are so many 70's rides that I thought would be cool to build so I was waiting for some others to choose what they wanted as to narrow my list for me! Now I'm down to a top 2, so I picked one! I'll be building this 70 1/2 Camaro. It won't be a Baldwin Motion car, but rather a nice street car. Not sure yet whether it'll be rather mild with dual 4 bbls, headers and traction bars, or a little warmer with a blower... maybe more modern build with a LS motor...... I know it won't be a pro street nor street outlaw. Time will tell!

There is a call out section somewhere, I remember from doing the Sprint car build off. We had a NASCAR build off going as well, but we never voted on that one.

Thanks for the confidence Tom! It almost seems like the decade could have just been the year 1970....we have 14 who started, with over half of them are 1970 vehicles! Good luck to everyone!

Well I've finally started this. Not much progress yet just painted the chassis and started the engine. I've decided to do an early 80's style build and use the Moroso valve covers from the Revell 67 Chevelle kit and a Moroso air cleaner I got from Paul (thanks Paul!). Hopefully I'll have a few more pictures soon.

Some progress is better than no progress. so true Joel...so true! I asked the wife what color this one should be and she said red! I was thinking orange or maybe yellow, but she was pretty sure that red was the color, so I sprayed it with testers one coat lacquer (man how I love that stuff!)

Mind blowing how you knock these builds down man - AWESOME!!! No real secret here. It's a basic build with only a few engine details changed / added. I hope to get the bmf done tomorrow and have the final assy done by the end of the week.
