Thanks All.. Have been playing a little. I guess I do things a little unusual- for example the 72 Cutlass build. It started out as a Convertible ( nice kit , by the way ). But , I have yet to see any 70 - 72 Cutlass Supreme Hardtops being produced sooo I will make one.. I am using the Top off of the 70 Chevelle - with lots of mods I might add . My bad , I forgot to take pics of the process in getting it ready to go to its new home. But I do have some - unattached to the body, fairly lined up but not glued or anything. Here is a shot or two.. .. Comments -- Criticisms -- or just plain Chat Welcomed.. More to come .. Tom smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5

I have a hard top in resin but why spend the money when you can do it yourself. Great to see one of your builds, Tom!

I agree with everyone - awesome job, for sure if you would have not said anything, I would never have known it was not just an original kit!

Thanks All for the comments.. Still a ways to go with the top , but at least you get the Idea.. Not sure of which way to go with it -- Pro Touring/Resto-Mod -- some what Stock -- Killer Car ? It will be a 'Cutlass Supreme Hardtop' though , from there ( Who Knows ) will see what ideas grow in my head.. Off we go into the wild and wacky world of model building...LOL Tom impatient-smiley-emoticon

Hi Everyone.. Well work is coming along slowly on the 72 , but at least it is moving. Finally got the top on permanently, next is Body Work to it.. Made some adjustments to the aftermarket Hood to make it fit better.. Test fitted the Wheels and Tires and redid the Suspension to make her a little Lower, as I think I am going for a Pro Touring/Resto Mod type Build.. Not quit sure yet as to a Dual Quad or Fuel Injection Set up for the 455.. Any way here a couple shots of the latest progress. Comment, Criticisms, or suggestions are welcomed and looked forward to .. Enjoy..

Thanks Tom and AK .
This is relay the first for me , being this low and not a Pro Street.. Kind of liking the look , Pro Touring but not Low Rider , which is what I was after.. Lots more Detail to come ( quite a bit of " out of my normal " )

Thanks for the Complement DC .. Well looking at it , I figured - Would not a Pro Touring Car have a bit of a dressed up Interior. Did some rummaging in the ole parts and came up with some seats that I think would go with any Pro Touring Car. Still, a ways to go but am moving along.. as always Comments and all always welcomed. Here's a mock-up shot of the Seats -- what ya all think ?? . Thanks Tom smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5

Coyote , Thank You for the comment on the seats.. Well we got Stance , Wheels , Seats , now on to INDUCTION.. Followed suite a little here . Did not want to do a Blower or Have Multiple Carb's . Wanted a Street able car , so decided to have a 455 Olds Big Block with EFI that WILL fit UNDER the W-30 Hood.. Found some sort of intake - took two Muffler halves from a 70 Chevelle turned them upside down and glued together. sanded down an Old Carb for an Air Intake and whala... Have to kind of go with the flow of Ideas when they arrive or I might lose them LOL..Still a ways to go as usual but am getting there... Here's a pic or two.. Comment , Suggestion's , or just plain Chat welcome.. Thank's for looking.. Tom

Those seats will suit the pro touring theme perfectly, don't like the induction though, so i will send you my address so you can get rid of it... SERIOUSLY, that is PERFECT, exactly what i wanted for mine.. I think with that roof job, that interior and that induction, this will be one super Pro Tourer mate..

Thanks for the comment Dale.. Am working on the Fuel System now. Some TINY , Tedious , work to get Fuel Lines from the Rails to the Cylinders and have it all clear for the A/C and other hang-on stuff.. I hope all the EFI "rig a marrow" will look good when done.Just mighty slow going, to me anyway...Some pics when i get farther along with the Fuel Delivery System.

Hi All. A little more progress on the 72. Got the Fuel Log's built and on as well as the individual lines to the Intake. Also worked up a Air Inlet set up. Not sure about using that , but it is all I have for now , till I come up with something better.. And all of this ( kind of to my amazement ) Still fits UNDER the W Hood. Here's a couple Pics. Thanks for looking, Comments-Criticisms-or Chat welcomed... Tom
