Looking sweet! Its the little things like swapping out those valve covers that adds so much to the final product!

Thanks DeeCee, Mike, Sharp, AK, CC and JM. I really appreciate all of the support. I got more done on the Speedwagon this weekend. Got the MCG grill installed. I really like MCG products, they do add a lot to the outcome. A little finicky to use, especially the tiny parts but worth the effort. I also finished up the engine with the exception of the headers which will get installed once I get to the point of securing the engine down. Also got the steering wheel competed with the MCG center. I just need to do some final touch ups and that will be it for the interior. Lots to do yet. Thanks for looking. Rob

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I haven't had a lot of bench time lately but I did get the wood grain decals installed. The kit I have used here was a kit I have had for many years sitting around. When I went to work with the decals they disintegrated. ARRRGGG! Luckily, Revell has recently re-issued this kit so I bought another to get the decals. I was tempted to try my hand at creating my own wood grain but didn't want to experiment on this car. I'll save that for another time. The kit will go to good use for donor parts for some planned builds. Thanks again for looking! Rob

Thanks guys for the nice comments. The last couple of weeks have been busy with work. It's raining here today so I won't have to mow the lawn. I should have time this weekend to get this build wrapped up.

Carpet (flocking?) is a fine addition to a nice interior. Body style, and now nice blue, make it really stand out.

Thanks harron68. The carpet is actually felt from the dollar store. I have been experimenting with different materials I can find on the cheap. Obviously I didn't get around to finishing this up over the past couple of weekends. Spring has sprung here and the temperatures have been in the 80s. Makes it hard to convince my wife that I should spend time at the bench when the weather is so nice. I'll git her done though!

I have a hard time finding felt thin enough. I bought 36 colors of flocking a long time ago. sure, you will get it done, (I still have to start mine).

Thanks Tubbs.
I like experimenting with different materials I find. Flocking has always been my first choice but doesn't hurt trying other things occasionally.
I got back on this build today after being away from the bench for awhile. Down to the fine details of the build now, I'll post some pics tomorrow of what hopefully will be the final result.
