You fellas are too kind! I decided I'm going a slightly different direction now. I'm gonna go ahead and use the kit supplied lowered suspension and big wheels, so I had to bring the motor to a little more modern times. I went digging in my parts bin and found the perfect intake for my vision lol. 20151213_213609 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr 20151213_213552 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr I was planning on a hei distributor but, I'm not sure it'd fit. So I have to figure out something for that.

Thanks Frank! My wife was making fun of me the other night. She said "don't you have 3 months to build this?" so I replied, "well yes but I need to make sure I actually finish the one" lol. So far I'm on track!

Well I finally decided to try and mask the door panels and just sprayed them... 2015-12-20_09-11-29 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Not to shabby if I say so myself lol. Now to let them dry and later this week get them foiled and start the assembly of the interior. I also made some new coil springs for the front 2015-12-20_10-27-18 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr

Thanks fellas! I got the dash done, I somehow lost the clock decal when I applied the Micro Sol, but a black wash made it look alright. This was my first time using micro all as I barely apply decals anyhow lol... 20160103_203223 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr And if someone has a rear window they won't be using I could use one lol... 20160103_202907 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr It didn't fit well at all and I was gently trying to coax it to fit, then snap and a swear word.

And some mockup shots of what she'll look like. I changed my mind on the intake and wheels again lol. With the tpi I would have had to cut a lot out of the firewall. I'm waiting for some distributors from M.A.D. that I ordered the other day and when they arrive I'll get this wired. After that I just need a back window and it'll be final assembly time! 20160103_212756 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr 20160103_212802 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr 20160103_212750 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr

Thanks Alan! And thanks Frank! I'm right on track to actually finish this one lol. I've been noticing that tollerences on this kit are very tight, everything fit fine on initial mockup but after paint lots of stuff is not fitting well anymore.
