Well I know I shouldn't since we are off on hols in a couple of days but here is a start. I've cut one of the doors out, just the boot, the other door and the inners to go.

Hi all last update for a week as on hols in the morning Uprated the door hinges, no sag now thought I better check clearances with the internals, as you can see only about 1/2 a mill clearance, that's a lucky one. given her a coat of primer so she will have a week for that to fully cure

That looks great. You did your door hinges a different way than most, does it work better?

Nice job. You should give it a try Mike. It takes a bit of practice but once you can open doors and trunks and hinge, the customizing gets better. It does take longer to complete, but it's worth the trouble.

Hi all, here is the last update for a long time on this one really not happy with this so I think I'm going to box it up and shelve it for a while, before I throw it at the wall, cant put my finger on whats turning me off it, I think its just the fact that nothing on it is really up to a standard I'm happy with, the paint job is not shiney enough the engine is really not one of my better weathering efforts (certainly not up to the bike standards) the door shuts lets face it are laughable and I've found out the doors open inside the wings not as I have them, it just all adds up to a piece of rubbish (yes it can all be rectified (fairly easily)) but the shine has gone off it for me and if I force myself to finish it I can see it taking a flying lesson.

Try some dot 3 brake fluid. The biggest problem with that is disposing of the fluid when you are done. Even better is Purple Power or Castrol Super Clean.
