Cool deal thank you iceman. I got some really cool retro decals for a 78 ford truck that I'm going to be using I'm pretty sure.

For the 60's customs build, does it have to be a 60's car or just that style of build? just for example say a 50's car with 60's mods

Question for April's build would a 32 Ford considered a hot rod? I done a Google search and there all over the place with that car. Just wanted to be sure before I started building it.

A 32 Ford would definatly be considered a hot rod so long as it wasn't build as a factory stock vechile. And even back when it was new and stock fo, it cpuld outrun just about anything else on the road!

This one isn't stock it has a bigger v8 engine instead of the old flat head that came in the car definitely not the old wheels either.

For the month of may dose it have to set on the ground or can it be a one wheel wonder lol sorry for all the questions just ready to start that build next. Was wondering if something like this would be ok for a low rider?

It has to be built in the lowrider style. That said, up down, bouncing ! It doesnt matter as long as it is low

For July, Traditional 60s Style Custom; does it have to be era wheels, etc? Can you have 60's style with modern parts? Say Cragar-looking wheels but they are 18". Not saying I would but I'm curious. Thanks.

Is it too late to submit a build for MOTM for April?

Is it too late to submit a build for MOTM for April? Sorry to say that it is too late to summit an entry for April. The way the months are set up all of Aprils entries must be completed before the month begins. May through Dec are still open and you may build for any of those months, however you MUST take picures as you build and you MUST NOT post any of the build pictures or any finshed pictures of the model here nor anywhere else until the thread for that month is created by admin. Hope this helps! and hope to see some of your work soon!

Soooo........I have a question. For the August theme (any van), Would a delivery panel fall into that category? Or did we decide we were looking for actual van-vans?? forehead-slap-smiley-emoticon

I think that was discussed in the anniversary questions. If I remember correctly if it was car based and had no windows it didn't qualify for the anni build. Going purely on that I would say it should automatically qualify it as a van since it was decided it wasn't a car.

I think it is OK, as each country varies in what we call a van. These 3, you guys would call it a delivery, or panel, but here in Aussie, we call them panel VANS, and always have. 56 FJ Holden 67 HR holden And the Sandman panel van, a huge hit with the surfin' community and the young guys... But the things you refer to as a Van, was almost non existent in this country, as they were cr@p..

I always look at all the years catagories and then I ask my self what are they looking for. If there is a station wagon theme a work truck theme and a van theme I ask what are they looking for ........ Well station wagons are most commonly a large two or four door car that has an extended roof glass windows all around and six to nine passenger seating. A work truck would be a pick up or panel delivery used to do any of a number of jobs from plumbing to road construction and so on. A van I see two images a mini van ( soccer mom ) or a 70s shaggin wagon disco van! Now I think if you googled images of these three themed you get pictures of what I just described . I feel the intent of the theme was 70s disco shaggin vans ! You guys make the call, here is my inspiration .

Would independent front suspension have been used on 60's customs? I'm well on with mine but worried the suspension will be wrong as it looks pretty modern and I was hoping not to do any chassis mods

I would say yes as you can do a 60s style custome using a 2016 car or truck . It's the 60s style of custom we are looking for .
