Hi Guys I'm joining David/GB on this build. I'm doing the engine for the build. Here are some beginning pics so please feel free to ask questions. I do things kinda on automatic so if I leave something out you'd like to know please feel free to ask. No secretes on this one. I'll be using some parts from pro-tect and other sources so will try and name them as I go. Here what we have Beast sent me to work with...I have no idea where or what kits they came from so Beast will have to answer those questions. we're missing a starter, oil filter, and distributor so I'll be providing those otta my stash. THE FIRST THING I ALWAYS DO IS CLEAN ALL PARTS EDGES UP SMOOTH EVERYTHING OUT AND SAND OR FILE IT DOWN. ONCE THE BLOCK IS TOGETHER I FILE THE CONNECT LINES AWAY SINCE ENGINE BLOCKS AREN'T SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE. SO GOTTA SMOOTH OUT THE OIL PAN SO IT LOOKS LIKE ONE PIECE. SO STAY TUNED THIS IS WHAT I HOPE WE END UP WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS

Oh man that is looking great! Sorry about the missing pieces! Let me know if you need anything I have a vast junk yard of parts ! Yes those parts cam from the two pro street chevelles some from the one molded in green the rest from the White one . some slight differences . But most of this build is being done with left over parts .

Okie Doke guys a little more progress. got some paint on and purposely didn't sand down oil pan good enough so could show how o correct it if down wrong. I DRILL MY PLUG WIRE HOLES BEFORE I PAINT BLOCK I STRIP INSULATION OFF WIRE TO MAKE PLUG BOOTS PLACE STRIPED PIECE ON PIECE OF TAPE FOLDED BACK TO HOLD SMALL PIECES IN PLACE UNTIL NEEDED CAREFULLY SLIDE PC OF BOOTS ONTO DIST WIRES PAINTED BLOCK BUT STILL SEE SOME SEAM SO USE CLEAR GLUE OVER AREA SPREAD EVENLY LET DRY THEN REPAINT.

Would any one be interested in tackleing the interior ? This is an on going "how to" that i started and JP has been kind enough to lend his talents for the motor. I will continue to finish the body and frame and when it is completed I will sell it on ebay and the funds will go towards the JsCs account. If anyone is interested PM me and I can send you the pieces.

What paint job do you have in mind and are you going to add decals?

I am thinking maybe blue with white ss strips then weather it a bit but not as much as the e bay truck. An yes I was going to put J's C's decals on it much like the e bay truck. Black or blue interior

GB,
L O O K I N G O O O D ! !
Engine does look killer in there--stance is great--going to be killer when done.. Only puzzlement is in side view--rear wheels are to far forward but i Figure that is just mock-up..
Going to be S W E E E T..

60sera do you mean the tires in the wheel wells are too far forward or do you mean that I altered the wheel base too much when I did it ? Appreciate everyone's comments, I have been trying to get back to this but with the anniversary build and the decade build I have been swamped.
i will probably radius the rear wheel wells to better fit the big slicks. Not sure could also go with a skinner tire and keep it in the wheel well
